This being the only sanctuary in the vicinity of Chandigarh. The nearest airport is Chandigarh and there are regular flights from Delhi, Bombay & other major destinations in India.

Now the airport has been declared international airport with the start of flights for Dubai as well as Bangkok (Thailand). Delhi, the national capital of the country, is a mere 250 km from Chandigarh by road and takes 4 hours of rational driving on a well-maintained stretch of NH – 1 which is more convenient than traveling by air. Package tours – Tourist circuits do not cover Sukhna WLS, as on date. There is no bus service on week-ends or holidays for the general tourist to visit Sukhna WLS.
