The nearest airport is Chandigarh and there are regular flights from Delhi, Bombay &amp; other major destinations in India.<\/p><p>Now the airport has been declared international airport with the start of flights for Dubai as well as Bangkok (Thailand). Delhi, the national capital of the country, is a mere 250 km from Chandigarh by road and takes 4 hours of rational driving on a well-maintained stretch of NH \u2013 1 which is more convenient than traveling by air. Package tours \u2013 Tourist circuits do not cover Sukhna WLS, as on date. There is no bus service on week-ends or holidays for the general tourist to visit Sukhna WLS.
