Description:

Perennial, prostrate or ascending, much branched herbs; stem with adpressed and patent hairs and woody base. Leaves sessile or shortly petiolate, lanceolate to ovate, or oblong, 8-25×2-8mm, more or less adpressedly hairy on both the surfaces; acute or rounded base, obtuse or mucronate apex. Flowers pale-blue to purplish, 1-3 flowered axillary cymes; pedicels short. |

Nootropic agent. Chronic bronchitis. General weakness. Used in fever, nervous debility, loss of memory, also in syphilis and scrofula. It is used as Rasayan. |
